He also has a new main subordinate. Moving closer to the fan-base is a good choice.

Man. What is going on with the Wii U game? I really need to see it for myself. Shattered Crystal on the 3DS is outstanding.
The man in charge of Sonic now is named Ivo?
OK. You got me, Sega.
Seems Nintendo finally took notice of Sega's success and westernized Mario. Here's how he will look in his NX debut:

Basically it was made by Naughty Dog rejects who didn't know jack shit about making a good Sonic Game. It's a buggy mishandled mess that's running in an engine not suited for that kind of game that's barely playable. And that's after Sonic Team threw up at what they saw and intervened to try and fix it as best they could.
^That pretty much.
I'm excited for this 25th anniversary game. Sonic Team has repeatedly said they're focusing on quality not quantity this time around. 2016 might be a year to remember for Sonic fans (me and Miru).
Count me in as excited for the 25th anniversary game. I've been following it from the start. The far fetched rumors about it being two games (SA3 and the "Sonic Genesis" Sonic 1 remake) which I highly doubt, to the clues Aaron Weber has been dropping on Twitter and Facebook. I'm hoping with all the Classic Sonic art Sega has been using promoting the 25th anniversary that he makes a return in some form. Though it has been said that Sega wants the new games to be inspired from the the way the classics played: https://www.sonicstadium.org/2015/10...-sonic-future/ . My guess is that we may have an announcement within a month or two. We'll just have to wait and see.
I'd lose my shit over legit 2D sprites for a Sonic Genesis sequel. Nothing like Sonic Advance or Sonic Rush. More like a legit change that we could have seen if Sonic 4 had been on the Saturn.
Sooo...Sonic 4?
I liked Sonic 4.
I have both episodes of Sonic 4 for some time now. Almost forgot I had them. As I've yet to play them. Same for Mega Man 9 & 10 & it's DLCs. Need to fix this one of these days...
My best memories were of Sonic 3, then S&K, then S3&K, then Sonic Jam. Over and over until I beat it with every combinations each time and then some more.
Why do people refer to Sonic Jam as a separate game all the time? It's just a collection of old games with a 3D concept Sonic thrown in.
I liked the old Genesis games but they don't hold my attention that much these days. Honestly, I hope Sonic Team doesn't make another 2D Sonic because as we saw with 4, even though fans ask for it, they don't actually want it.
In a recent interview, Iizuka said he moved to the US to "bring Sonic back to video games", which he also did when he worked on Sonic 3 back in 1994. Do you guys think we could have a real Sonic Adventure-like redesign and new era in Sonic games?
That could be awesome (as long as it happens on PC too). Sonic is really the only big card Sega has to play and they've been right on the edge of losing it over the past 10 years.
The people who made sonic great left years ago and I'm tired of the current team's blindfold-dartboard approach to Sonic.
I thought with Colors and Generations I was safe putting my faith in Sonic again, but after Lost World Sonic is second-rate bargin bin game status like he was after Secret Rings.
Yeah, I refuse to get excited for anything Sonic related ever, bridge completely burnt.
I wont get excited, but I'll remain hopeful. So far, since Sonic Adventure 2, I've enjoyed Colors, Generations and, more recently, Shattered Crystal. If the 25th anniversary game is at least as good as those, I'd be satisfied.
