Sad to see MS killing off the 360, but I figured it was only a matter of time. The early models sucked hard reliability wise, but my Slim has ran like a champ and it has some awesome games.
I love how 360 fanboys never bring up the horrible unusable D-pad thats still included with new 360s.
The console came out in 2005 and it still used DVDs, didn't have WiFi built-in until like 2008.
I have enjoyed my 360, but no where as much as my PS3.
I only cry when I turn on my PS3 and run into all the issues that I took for granted on X-Box. :pQuote:

But that's not the only issue with DS3. It's not ergonomic; the analog sticks on it aren't near as good as the X-Box 360; and the trigger buttons are worse (and only made worse further by the gamepad not sitting in your hand well enough). I only started taking gaming more seriously ever since the DS4 came to replace the terrible DS3. DS4 at least attempts to be ergonimic & has analog sticks much more on par with the 360. I still have to use a D-Pad attachment overlay for D-Pad because Sony is a little slow, and the DS4 is sadly too wide now (felt like a bike handle the first few times I used it). It's also not fully compatible with the PS3; still very terrible battery life; wireless signal not as responsive due to still being bluetooth; still have to keep a DS3 for PS menu button; and every time I fire up the PS3 I have to enter accessory screen to set the DS4 to player 1; the USB connection does not sit snug at all so I have to use a hairband to keep it connected for even the slightest movement; etc.. So still lots of issues with DS4 gaming on PS3, but when it's worlds better then DS3, what choice do I got. :p
But seriously, why we talking about how garbage Sony is at making gampads so soon again. We just discussed this like a month ago. Anyone who doesn't see the DS3 far worse then the X-Box 360 controller I've posted here, shouldn't even be bothered to be taken serious.

It's only an issue for gamers who only use D-Pads for hotkeys. As it's more common to accidentally hit the wrong direction on D-Pad while playing dual analog stick focused games of today.Quote:
