What OS Are You Currently Running?

I am running windows vista, and I love it.

Being a microsoft tech, i know the real Vista, and it is horrible, flakey, and poor at managing memory (it's GUI forgets to clear memory after use! this eats up memory very badly).. Sadly, I'm not supposed to say this. ;) I say, give Vista a year or two to mature, and then it will be good. XP was bad at first too, till SP1a came out..

I use XP Pro, and OS X 10.4.10...

I'm using a hodgepodge of OS's

Windows 2000 Pro on the webserver
Windows XP Home on my two main computers
Windows XP Pro on my fileserver
Fedora Core 6 Linux on my PIII 450
Fedora Core 7 Linux on my Athlon 64 2800+

i have you beat, i have a shit load.. i only listed what i have on my two main computers, desktop, and laptop ;)

Well, on my desktop I run XP, which I also love. My laptop is for mostly casual things, so vista works great for me.

If the laptop came with Vista, chances are it won't downgrade to XP for the extra speed and better battery life.

Microsoft made a very dirty deal with Pheonix BIOS. The newer Pheonix BIOS only allows Vista, and that's it, nothing less, or 3rd party like Unix.

Holy shit, I hope you're joking. If that doesn't scream "MONOPOLY" Then nothing does. Geez, That's Idiotic, what if I prefer unix and used it all my life and don't want no shitty windows?!

Gah, well I run a shitload too. My old IBM Computer runs OS/2 Warp 4, HP computer 98/Suse Dualboot. Desktop XP and Ubuntu. Laptop XP.

I wish I was joking. It is a monopoly, and sadly, it's not illegal.

If some people are smart enough and have these computers, they need to start a class action law suit.
