Guru Larry dropped off for years and years, but Fact Hunt is very quickly becoming a top-tier Youtube show about games. Both informative and hilarious.

I mentioned his vids on here a while back, didn't seem to get much interest from people here sadly.

He's been known to me for a while, before he had a youtube channel he used to be a member on Dave Perry's Games Animal forum, I had the same username there too.

^ Yeah, he was also a presenter on the defunt Sky channel "The Games Network", which I watched back in the early 2000s after coming home from college. Was surprised to see him doing his own Youtube channel. Definitely a shame he's not more universally known.

He might have been on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses at some point, with Retro Corner, but that's many years ago and those videos weren't aywhere near as good as what he does now.

I like his stuff a lot, but IIRC his output was nearly none existent for a few years, which I suspect is why he isn't that well known now.

I occasionally watch some of this guy's videos but am not super into them tbh.

Its a stretch to refer to CJ's Elephant Antics as a "ripoff" of the Newzealand Story, inspired by certainly, ripoff no.

Been a subscriber for a while now. I appreciate his insight and style. Truly worthy of his monicker.

Yeah, at first I only thought of him as that goofy fat guy who Ashens played board games with, and didn't really give his channel much thought.

But when I started watching his videos, I was amazed at the depth of his research and information (which I can only assume is accurate). When he claims you've never heard of something, he really means it.

Compare this to those insipid WatchMojo list videos.

I quite like Guru Larry, he has good delivery and is engaging.

Larry is definitely not an "unknown" Youtuber ) Love that guy.

I enjoy his videos, but the titles/thumbnails can be a little click baity. Can't hold it against him, though, such is the world we live in.
