So, he made a pretty mild video stating that he will not see
the new ghostbusters movie. Now every cuck and feminist
from Patton oswald and dane cook, to writers from The Huffington
Post and The New York Times have decided to "gamergate" him.

As of right now, sad hipsters with near worthless journalism degrees
are organizing a massive smear campaign to blackball him for what
they consider to be "soft sexism".

Will angry hordes of AVGN fans be the ones to finally bring the cabal
of corrupt feminist cuck pseudo journalists to heel, or will the nerd
be forced to capitulate and apoligize with tears in his eyes, to an
unmerciful mob of professional victims who will destroy his life anyway.

Things are likely to get interesting, especially since SJW's will
always double down rather than admit to error on their part.

Just to put it out there, calling people cucks isn't doing anyone any favors to the argument. It's no different than slinging the term fags around in an argument about LBGT rights.

But other than that. I have no issues with AVGN on this unless he outright came forth saying he wasn't seeing it because it was an all female case. Which I have yet to see.

I've seen the previews. The fact that they are all women, while I think is stupid if they are going for a "lets make this equal" statement, doesn't bother me.

What does bother me is that it looks like a movie length parody skit of some other movie with a modestly decent special effect budget. The cast looks to have no rapport, the jokes and humor feel forced, even many of the effects look cheap.

Until I see a preview that makes me think, "hey, this actually looks decent!" I have no intention of seeing it until I can watch it free on Netflix.

Which is the exact same feeling I had about the Ninja Turtles movie and the Marky Mark Transformers movie (both terrible). I didn't see any outrage about those when people said they looked like crap.

Like AVGN or not, I hope this doesn't become a major issue beyond some annoying spam for a couple weeks.


And I sincerely hope that if this movie is truly as bad as it looks, that it bombs HARD and isn't seen as failing because of the female cast... only because it's a terrible.

I have no plans of ever watching this new Ghostbusters movie. I think it would ruin what I know and appreciate of the first two movies. That is my option and could careless what anyone thinks of my decision, they could more of a response from a wall.

Edit: And this decision did not come from the trailer I have never viewed the trailer this is based off of many others talk of it and was instantly turned off by the all woman... Ghostbusters? Reboot? This will go down like, A Good Day to Die Hard or Terminator Genisys two franchises I like very much.

Edit#2: It is that that I'm hatting on woman in movies I like Sigourney Weaver in the Alien franchise, off the top of my head.

That list of near identical articles I posted has now doubled in size.

All this because someone with a modicum of influence decided that
he wasn't going to watch a movie which happens to be SJW approved.

It's like all of these glorified bloggers are working together to push some
kind of agenda.

People come out of the woodwork to either support or denounce people like him on any reasonably sized "controversy".

Ever since the first trailer was released to a great deal of negative attention this whole thing has just been getting worse.

Honestly his best plan if he wanted to stay out of it would have just to not comment on it, at least not for awhile.

It's unfortunate they can't separate the people who are legitimately being dicks (how dare they make it with all women!) from the people who saw the trailer and thought it just looked like ass.

I put the quality of the trailer "just" above something like Another Scary Movie.... but those have the benefit of knowing they are low budget, direct to video, garbage. They are also not trying to be a remake (or even a continuation of) any series people actually care about.
Epic Movie isn't trying to bill itself as the next installment of the Lord of the Rings series for instance.

This new Ghostbusters movie is hitting all of the wrong notes for many people, both who have and have not seen the original.

I know some who have never seen the original, know some of the actresses in the movie, and think this looks decent. More power to them, but I just can't get over how shoddy a movie it looks. Especially for one getting any kind of advertising push at all.

What I like best about that AVGN video is the msg that if you think it isn't going to be good, you shouldn't be supporting it. Because supporting crap means more crap is what you're going to get.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I love women and have some fave female actresses (like Eva Green). But an all female Ghostbusters is such a slap in the face to Ghostbuster fans in my opinion.

I'm not gonna watch it personally, but i'll just say that the nerds (no, not the AVGN, just nerds) idea of 'preserving integrity of a childhood classic', guys it's a fucking old ass comedy movie about a group of bumbling idiots that bust ghosts. Is it a good movie? Yes. Is it a culture landmark that we should preserve and protect to our dying breath? No, not really.

Not everything is the fucking Godfather and honestly remakes never ruin a classic movie. Has the reputation of Robocop being ruined by the meh 2014 reboot? No.

Both sides of this argument are morons, where are all the people that don't really give a shit about Ghostbusters one way or another at?

EDIT: Some of those tweets are quite funny, especially the ones where they don't really see the big deal either way, Graham Linehan is a funny guy anyway and as he said, who really gives a shit, and Paul Feig... well, he would of qualified for burn status with his tweet if he hadn't recently thrown a pretty public hissy-fit.
