I quite enjoy the XB1 interface in general. The one it shipped with on launch was absolutely much worse.. and I'm glad they changed it.
The home screen gives you most of what you need with minimal clutter. You can tap left and bring up friends, groups, achievements, messages, settings, and snap settings.
To the right is your game/app library, the current gold features, and a few advertisements.
It's not perfect, but it's functional. In a lot of ways it's essentially the old blades 30 interface now, just a bit sleeker.
My biggest complaints:
There needs to be an "update all" button for apps and games. It's a pain to have to either go in and manually update them, or just wait for when you use them for them to update. I understand why they don't just update by default (data caps and such), but for those of us who don't care, I'd like a "always keep my apps up to date" button or option I could check.
The other complaint is actually the game store. It's functional... but I think it's better broken up (and therefore easier to browse) on the 360.
