Well salt is in many foods and does contribute to ageing faster and if that's a concern to you, then not a bad idea to cut down on it or counter it with more water drinking. Ditto for smoking and drinking alcohol adding to ageing faster factor too. Because looking good is being happier too, don't forget. I know main reason where I got the most motivation to finally quit smoking for good was when I noticed smoking ageing signs for the first time at age 35 and also after a few tanning bed sessions. But everything is almost back to normal again for me since quitting those two things. So I'm happier.
Now cutting down on fat. That's madness for me personally (I never buy the reduced low fat BS food products. Maximum fat/taste for me). The real issue is sugar. Not so much fat.
Also as a result of quitting smoking and eating out. I feel so much more alive and think much more clearly. Smoking I miss, but eating out I don't (though I still do it sometimes, just way less), because I can still eat very good tasting food. But at least with the food I make, I know what I'm eating.
Also this week there were two days were I ran out of groceries so just ate the take out food my brother and roomate always order for those two days. Big mistake. I started feeling more like ass again + took the most disgusting shits too that required immediate showering, lol (sorry for too much information :p). Totally not worth it. And to top it off, these foods never fill you up. You just want to keep eating like a pig.
