Wow, I've been away for a few months moving to Brazil, and I somehow missed this incredible release. Beautiful programming Stef!
Is anyone releasing themed packs of players besides Steft? I maintained collections for the Sega VGM-Rom Project, and would love to have something similar using the superior XGM Player. I love loading up an EverDrive and listing with headphones on a Nomad. It's like they were perfectly made for the task :D

How do you add artwork to the players, and what are the ideal dimensions? Also, what do the check-boxes for DI, DR, and DD control?
Currently i did not yet implemented the artwork replacement but that is something i plan to add to the XGM rom builder.
DI / DR and DD are special setting to improve PCM extraction if basic extraction does not work properly.
I see, thanks again for your monumental work with this. I realized right after posting that you have popup tooltips explaining the functions of the check-boxes. I've been building players and love the results.
I have some suggestions for the Rom Builder Tool:
1. An option to match the name of the output .bin to the compilation's title, and a line to enter a custom .bin name. This could fit in the UI to the right of the ROM Title field.
2. An option to set a default directory for the source files. To save having to navigate to the folder each time.
3. An option to set a default directory for the output .bin files.
4. An option to delete the auto-generated vgm files.
5. An option to prefer alphabetical file order over the tagged track number when adding VGM.
6. Save settings between sessions. If it doesn't already.
These would make it a little easier to create large batches of players.

Edit: I updated my player. There is a little wonkiness in the Battle Mania Daiginjō theme (my favorite track on the Genesis/MD) that I'll fix next time.

I completely missed your previous message. Thanks for the suggestions, i agree that almost all of them would make VGM compilation creation much faster ;)
Unfortunately I'm very busy with family stuffs since the December 2016 and that will continue until end of February at least :-/
I almost did not wrote a single line of code for my personal projects (including SGDK and the XGM player) since 2 months now... Should be better in march hopefully !

Converting MOD or XM to VGM is not really straight forward, MOD or XM are sample based while Megadrive VGM is basically FM and 1 PCM.
You need to find FM patchs close to your original samples, many handwork to be honest :-/
