Awesome comp, Peeteris. It blew my mind a little hearing all of those tracks in glorious YM2612 :D

Thanks! However the real heroes there are those who made all this cool stuff.
I just arranged these tracks. First tracks (after "this is human radio") are songs from artists, popular music. After that there are covers of various systems and games and last group contains of 'homebrew' tracks.
It seemed that you emphasized your compilation being homebrew in opposition to the one I wanted to make. I never said that it's related to mega drive, I just wanted to play Estrayk's tunes, which are homebrew, on a mega drive :p

Hey, have you ever wondered..
Alright, from the start -
I really love Knuckles Chaotix soundtrack.
Today I saw old Metal Sonic Overdrive walkthrough in which I heard many tracks from KC.
I searched up to download these tracks for genesis, but found nothing.
After a while I thought - hey, 32x music files are in .vgm, I wonder what will happen if I'll put them in the XGM player maker.
Guess what, I got no errors and was able to put ROM together.
Sure it doesn't sound as nice without 32x PCM channels, but, hey, it's not bad, actually.
Stef, if you are interested, you could upload this to your dropbox and post link there as tinyupload is random hosting service w/o registration which can get down anytime.

About the 32X music, i've no idea about how PCM data are stored for the 2 PWM channels but eventually we could use the extra PCM of XGM to play it (but it will remove FM6..)
Wouldn't the idea be to use a 32X to play those? =P
This XGM player is designed for Gen/MD, so it doesn't matter if this ROM is played through 32X.
You'll hear what you hear now.
Stef, if you will have time and interest, will you investigate this possibility? It would be amazingly cool. I think absence of 6th CH wouldn't be that noticeable as absence of PCM.
Keep up the great work!
Hey Stef?
Still looking forward to updates. :)
PCM playback flaws doesn't allow to playback most of Sonic VGM's from Project 2612 but I got an urge to make a Sonic compilation XGM Player ROM.
Is there an issue with PCM on the XGM driver then?
There are some quirks I reported to Stef earlier this year.
