And his Sonic CD remake even allowed for the Sonic 2 spindash, so I'm not sure why people who never owned a Sega CD would be in for a "rude awakening".
His Sonic 1/2/CD remakes all controlled wonderfully, Mania won't control any different.
Sonic CD Remake is like 1000x more playable than the standard version.
It's just that spindash, it's far better.
Meh, I always used the Peel Out, then instantly held down - same thing, really.
The peel out's still king for me too. Unless I just need a quick burst where a less-powerful spin dash will do, I'd rather wait for the peel out than piano across the buttons several times to get the same speed, especially since being in a ball from that point becomes my choice.Quote:

So the new rumor is Sonic Mania to be release April 25th, 2017 or so I read. Think it's this true on not?
amazon is still telling me may, i'm going by their date for now! id love to be wrong, even if that means it drops while im still playing persona 5
I don't care if they need a little more time to polish the game out. I'd rather get a solid fucking game then something being rushed out the door because of release dates.
I read somewhere that the game is getting a physical release after all, but I can't for the life of me find a source.
