Looking as good as ever.
When I heard that music, I got hard. I'm not ashamed to admit this....
Chemical Plant Zone = Sonic the Hedgehog for me. :D
I was really hoping for Aquatic Ruin to be the Sonic 2 represented zone. But damn, that video. Looks great.
EDIT: Green Hill's boss has been leaked. Don't click if you don't want to be spoiled.
Me too, Chemical is the best stage of the game, followed short by Cassino Night, but the two were present in Generations. Aquatic Ruin was indeed a better choice. Also, this boss AGAIN... :?
I think Sega only uses it every time thinking it was memorable, because the fight was quite boring.
And here are the other bosses that is not Eggman.
Don't worry, they're in silhouette to keep you guys unspoiled.

I'm really digging that chemical plant stage.
Chemical plant was my favorite zone in sonic 2. As a kid, I always wondered how much more there was to the area. I always imagined how much there could be to chemical plant that just wasn't included.
The gameplay shown really reminds me of what myself as a kid I imagined what an extended, fleshed out chemical plant zone would have been like. All of the tubes, liquid, machines, obstacles, and such.
Really debating if I should get the collectors edition.
I have the collector's edition preordered. It's pretty lame that you can buy a physical package for the game, but the game itself is still just a download code. Is it so hard to throw in a disc? They're not expensive. Especially considering some of the PS4 physical releases you see from companies like Limited Run, Soedesco, Rising Star, Nordic, etc. A lot of those games are much more niche than Sonic anything, and much 'smaller' games that you'd moreso expect to remain digital only. I have Assault Suit Leynos on disc. How many people have even heard of Target Earth? This is Sonic the Hedgehog. They could probably put a straight port of Sonic Jump, the mobile phone game, on a disc and it would sell better than many of these others. There's really no excuse; it's kind of pathetic.
That said, the game looks fantastic and I'm stoked. And the collector's edition is "close enough" that I'm just gonna count it as a physical copy for my purposes. I almost never buy digital, outside of heavily discounted Steam games.

Less than a month left until the game drops - who else is stoked?!
I'm looking forward to this on my Switch. The new bonus stages look really cool.
