Welp, refund requested. I don't want that junk on my computer. It's a shame because I liked the game. I hope I get the refund, I only bought the game yesterday morning and it only has two hours of playtime logged.

Now that the pc mustard race have their Sonic fix, wouldn't mind hearing their thoughts on it.
Bugs on PC:
-Can spindash off the airplane in the salon zone
-Invisible goal post (rare, only triggered once)
Unsure about these:
-Can die immediately from falling into the oil against the main oil ocean boss (it might be the case that you can get crushed by the platform as it moves down and is fully covered in oil or something),
Edit: The OOZ boss one was confirmed on another forum.
You die in the oil regardless, or just the boss?
There are a lot of bugs.
I notice that if you delete a saved game and play a new in the same slot right away it will behavior in-game as if you had just restarted it (in other words, the item monitors will be already used, WTF?!) (by the way, the lack of a Restart from Scratch option or something like that is annoying; Restart should give back the status you had in the beginning of that Zone IMO).
I've liked the game a lot so far. But it's so overloaded with everything that it hurts the enjoyment at some point.
Huge bug in the Mean Bean Machine game for PC where if you press a just as your current bean hits another sitting bean, it will push the current falling bean down into one sitting bean, overriding one that already existed.
You could spin dash off of the Tornado in Sonic 3, too.
Yeah but it's not consistent; I drop dashed a bunch of times on the plane before it happened.
On the boss. I died from falling from above the platform (after hitting the boss IIRC) into the oil while the platform was sinking and somehow, if the theory is correct, got crushed by it.
I agree Barone, I noticed that when getting the rest of the emeralds in GHZ yesterday. Took me a long time to get used to how the special stages play btw, it helps to use the analog stick there and to jump in tight turns.
Overall I think the game is great though, just beat the real final boss as Sonic.
Edit:
Ok, I've figured out exactly how spindashing off the plane works (at least at the very beginning of the level): You need to rev it up and be facing left, otherwise it doesn't happen.
Right, mistype. I hate using a this junk Dell USB keyboard, with its wonky spacing.
Sonic Mania is not a console pusher, meaning it runs at 60fps on PS4 just like some of the PS3 remasters on it as the Dark Souls 2 SotFS second quest like overhaul (well ok, this has to drops to 50fps, and even seen further drops when facing in certain direction of very open long draw distance areas). But Sonic Mania was basically designed to look like a cross between Sega Genesis and Saturn.
Unless the Steam version has an even higher refresh rate option toggle...
Sure isn't, poverty ass Switch still drops frames though. Then bends.
Switch mustard race imo
