I understand why it would be digital only because it's such a small game but at the same time, yeah this is marketed squarely at old-school fans who would appreciate a hard copy so I'm kind of shocked there wasn't at least a limited release.

Titanic Monarch is giving me a headache with it's plasma orbs, bumpers and ruby mist teleporting.. I keep running out of time. I gave up a month ago and just now tried again but time still not in my side.

Well digital figures are about 74% of sales today, so if you have the physical numbers...

Sega hasn’t given the total number of sales for Sonic Mania yet, but there are a few things we know.

According to Steamspy, the game sold around 120,000 units on Steam.

NintendoEverything mentioned that it topped the Eshop’s charts, and GameIndustry mentioned that Sega said to them that Sonic Mania would have been number 1 in the sales chart in the UK if digital sales were counted.

The numbers of Steam now are almost the same before the refunds by the few fortunate people who still were able to do this despise the dirty business practices by Sega.

That's great news! Yeah we went mad for Sonic Mania in the UK and with good reason, it's excellent and the Sonic game we'd all been waiting 23yrs to play.

there are no physical copies, so only digital counts. that's why I asked.
