That reminds me of kids changing the words on purpose back in the day. In about 6th/7th grade when Daytona was fresh in the arcade, I was in a bowling league through my school. Usually after our game we had about a half hour to kill before the bus left the bowling alley, and we all hung around the little arcade they had. Daytona, WWF Wrestlemania Arcade and the Addams Family pinball machine are the ones I recall playing the most.
But I digress, the volume on the Daytona machine was cranked, so that song dominated the arcade. One of the guys started singing "gay bonaaaaahhhh" instead of "Daytonaaaahhhh" and as a bunch of 12-13 year old kids, we all thought it was hilarious.
