If my memory isn't playing tricks on me, I believe it was actually a pack-in game with the model 2 for a short while.
I have it cart only, I remember playing it for a bit then stopping maybe because it was too hard or boring. Definitely gotta replay it again and give it a second chance.

The game is so easy that I can beat it without using continues or passwords… and without losing a single life! This lack of challenge definitely hurts the game’s replay value, but I do enjoy beating it time and time again.
I'm going to side with NeoVamp on this one. lol
Kek, I swear its not that simple. or maybe I just didn't care enough to learn the patterns.
played some Ren & Stimpy the other day, now that game was put together welll.
With Garfield I'm always on the lookout for sneak attacks that steal life.
It's one of my favorite Genesis games, despite its short length and low challenge. I'm probably the only fan of this game on the internet.
The thing I remember most from the game is somehow the whack-a-mole bonus game.
It's so funny & entertaining so that I think I played it more than the core game itself.

There are 6 holes and we're using A,B,C,X,Y, and Z for each hole.
That's really a good use of 6 buttons controller.
For me back then this game was worth for this bonus game alone.
I have a 6-button controller and am looking for the Garfield cartridge. If anyone has one for sale or trade, let me know. ;)
If anybody wonders, on a 3 button controller X/Y/Z is replaced with ↑+A/B/C.
How do you get past Dracula Oddie, by the way? (・~・) (yes, the first boss)
Got a copy of this with the box on eBay for $7.50 shipped. Looking forward to giving it a shot. Garfield was one cartoon character I enjoyed as a youth, and I wanted a Garfield + Snoopy crossover as much as people wanted a Mario + Sonic one.
It isn't that bad - definitely a ton better than the notorious FC Garfield... it is somewhat repetitive and all, but definitely playable.
That's so funny, that's about the only thing I remember about the game too.
I remember taping a piece of paper to my TV with some word/picture on it... I think the whack-a-mole game has an item you're not supposed to hit, and I wrote down whatever that was on paper so I wouldn't forget?
It's been so long I really can't remember.
Got my copy of the game yesterday. You beat Dracula Odie by dodging him until he swoops low enough for you to throw a skull at him. Then he'll enter a casket. Get on top of it before he comes out and jump to grab onto the gray curtains hanging above it. You'll pull it out and the light will come down. He'll eventually come out and be mesmerized by it. Repeat this process three times. Each round he'll do a different casket, starting with the left then going to the middle and right until you've beat him. :)
Oooooh. OK will try later (・・ ) Thanks!
