But what if the game gets confused and suddenly everything is in Spanish? Or f it keeps switching back and forth between Spanish and English like, every other sentence? Granted, it won't be a problem in the US since the majority of us speak Spanish as our primary language anyway.

But what if all people had the opportunity to choose their game? Here is how, at the factory:
"OK, here are the 10 different possible ROMs of the Japanese version. Let's produce X copies of ROM 1, Y copies of ROM 2, Z copies of ROM 3... (etc. uptil ROM 10).
Geez, that cost a lot more and took a lot more time. But I guess that doesn't matter, the guys already paid after all.
OK done. Now, let's ship these games to those who pre-ordered. I have to be really careful and check what exact game each and every pre-order was to what guy, so there is no mistake.

I don't mean to sound sarcastic or arrogant, and I'm exaggerating of course, but that's how it would have been. Too much extra work for the factory, simply put.

'Easy or hard' is subjective. I mean to say, I wonder how much effort will be required to patch the dumped chips to work on PC's.
There's open source emulators kicking around to work with for a stand-alone executable wrapper, if not just make it run. There's plenty of 'Black Hats' around to make it happen. It's something to do for somebody out there.
Seriously, I don't see why you guys couldn't offer those who ordered the Japanese version an option as to which ROM they'd want to have.

Edit #2: I am still in awe as to why you didn't ask us what we wanted. I mean "us" as in those who ordered the Japanese version. And some of us did order more than 1 copy and paid more than $35 bucks.
Given the choice I'd have preferred an English-only version as opposed to a multi-lingual version. That's why I picked the Japanese version in the first place (aside of the packaging of course). I mean I could have ordered the European version with German on it if I wanted a multi-lingual cartridge. Why give us a choice in the first place if you just throw whatever you want at us ?
Edit #3: Yes, I am complaining a lot, and I don't care if none of you guys gets what I am on about, I just really feel that this was a bad decision and I am extremely disappointed how this was handled.
