I've not had any trouble with international shipping, but it's good to hear y'all are taking it seriously. I suppose that with the cost of making a custom cart + CD, you want to be sure the customer gets it in one piece, especially as there will be limited warranty copies that will eventually be sold off as well.

I was watching Fanboys last night and the last line in the movie made me think of this thread.....Everyone was so excited to see The Phantom Menace and as the credits began to roll, one of the main characters asked "Guys, what if it sucks?"

As excited as everyone is, what if it sucks?

I thought the same... until I joined the beta-testing team and instantly loved it :)

Pier Solar doesn't have Jar Jar in it and George Lucas has no involvement. So there's virtually no way it can be a train wreck like Phantom Menace.

Until two sequels are made, and then three prequels created after a 15 year hiatus.

After the thread about how games like Beggar Prince make their cartridges, I decided to download the demo of Pier Solar from 2008. I loved it. It was my first time playing an RPG in that style, actually (always played 3D adventure-type RPGs, never have I played the top-down ones). Not only has playing the demo made me interested in getting Pier Solar, but also any other game of this type and genre.

Thank you, Pier Solar. You've opened up a new game genre for me! :D
