This has probably been covered somewhere else in this thread, but I'm sure you'll all forgive me for not trawling through from start to finish to find if and when.

How will the game play when using the enhanced CD via an emulator? I have a Retrode USB ROM reader that I can use to get the game ROM into my PC when it arrives, but I was wondering if there would be a way to combine the disc info with the cart ROM so I didn't have to use the disc in the PC too.

Not a real problem, but just wondered, cheers.

And like I said, my girlfriend knows people who made an actual released WiiWare game and the conditions which you say are required are most certainly not. They built it from their houses and only a few times did they occasionally meet in person. They were states apart.

As far as I know the game will have copy protection that will prevent it from being that easily dumped. A Retrode USB.isn't going to work I'm sure.

This brings an interesting question: What about the people that brought the game with the intention of using it on emulator platforms?

Well, they were supposed to know what they were buying... I guess :?

Once they are disappointed, they can sell it to people who can actually use the cartridge.

Won't be too much of a problem, I bought the Retrode way into my retro obsession because I thought it looked cool and it allows me to keep an archive copy of my collection for posterity. It also keeps my collector's pieces in their boxes too.

I only started playing emulation run stuff as a bit of side thing, as long as I can play on my MD, I'm happy with that. And what's the real problem if I do dump it? I'm not daft enough to put it on the web or something, and it would be for my own use, which is legal since I have purchased a copy.

The main thing I was thinking about was having PS on my Everdrive so I could keep the cart in the best shape possible, and not have to cart around an extra game with my Nomad, but if it's a no go, it's no prob.

This week I saw a video on YouTube about the advances in Soalr Pier and was very pleased with what I saw.
The new menus, improved UI, battle system and above all its sound quality incontestante.

No it didn't.

My biggest complaint about the DC controllers is the cable connects at the bottom of the controller instead of the top. They should have connected the cable at the top and inserted the VMU from the bottom. That would have been far more ergonomic. The second biggest issue is the position of the analog stick. I much prefer the stick below the dpad instead of above... more like the Playstation controller. Other than those two issues, I don't really have a problem with the DC controller.

Let's not forget about the sharp-edged d-pad which seems to want to slice into your thumb. Or the fact that it only has 4 face buttons whereas the Saturn had 6. The Dreamcast was definitely the least Sega-ish of all the Sega systems.
