Huh...THAT's a bit fucky. Not a huge deal considering the flexibility of the system to begin with, but...unexpected.

The last shipment would have been the pre-orders. The pre-orders shipped from China in December. A lot of people are still waiting to get it in the mail.

The reprint hasn't shipped yet. *I think* I read somewhere on the official forums that the reprint will ship in February.

I don't know if the reprint will be limited or not.

I think mt posie must be a retro game buff. He keeps coming past my door without stopping, I'll bet he's having a good time playing MY COPY of Pier Solar, dmn his eyes.

That's still infinitely better than games that won't let you save in dungeons, or the ones that only let you save at designated save points. I just really like being able to save upon entering an area.

Indeed, entering an area/room serves as kind of a checkpoint. The savegame will only record the state of when you entered the room.

So if you want to save be sure to leave the current area first, and all will be fine.

Is there a way to check in-game to see where you last saved just to be certain before powering-off the console?

Uhm, no... you would have to end the game by menu and check the saveslots.

I don´t understand why you would need to know though... you can just save before powering off and the savegame wil definately bring you back to the entrance of the current room.

No kidding. I would actually buy more RPGs if they had this feature. I guess the devs dont put it in because they feel it would make the game easier. Why do they care? Let me play it the way I want and the way that best suits my style.

I cant tell you how many RPGs i've abandoned because I wasted too much time playing and not being able to save because something in real life came up and I had to stop playing immediately.
