Go see the official contest thread on the Pier Solar boards. Not nearly as much activity as one would think.

I tried to enter the contest, but they said that I should use actual photographs using actual Pier Solar merchandise instead.
I honestly don't have a clue what to do in that case, play strip poker against a Watermelon, end up with only the Pier Solar cartridge covering my groin, and get someone else to photograph the scene?
The contest popup says "posters are meant to be pined, stickers are meant to be stickied". So use them and photograph them. More details here:

See? This is the exact same problem I ran into immediately when I tried to answer the contest's rules. This truly is an extremely difficult contest to crack... Sorta like the actual game of Pier Solar according to several people in here.
I thought the contest would also be available to reprint buyers.
Did Polo Solo man get his copy in the end? I was just catching up on a few things and watched his final video that mentioned me a hell of alot haha!
Played a bit today. I got to the crab boss and he killed me with this jumping attack that he used two consecutive rounds and did way more damage than I could heal. Healing items seem to be way too expensive, and magic uses too many points per spell. It's been said here that there's no need to grind, but in order to have the money to buy the mass amount of healing items needed (considering the high ambush and poison rate), grinding seems necessary, for money if not for levels.
And the platform part seemed to be hard just for the sake of being hard. Platforms and switches hidden behind pillars? Why? I must have spent the better part of an hour wandering around trying to find out what to do, and if I hadn't read Ecco's post, I'd probably still be looking. I'll try again later, since I don't want to have to reload and grind for money right now.
Excerpt from the contest page:
Hence, no ordinary form of shameless advertising will do. That's where things get difficult. How do you do something extraordinary when it has all been done before? Where does one even start? Maybe that's why the contest's thread on the PS Boards hasn't been very active...Quote:

They couldn't be hidden elsewhere. You can see them find their places as they take their route from point B to point A.Quote:

I may have whined about certain parts but I finished it without looking to the net for help. My hardest part was finding the lady to give the perfume to.
