Actually now that I know the Cave of Evil is not my destination, would anyone like to point me in the right direction? I've pretty much combed through the Pine Forest, I've been through the town of Mutch, and I've been to the lake though I don't see how to do anything...

And I really, REALLY don't like the heal spell interface. You can only move between those characters who have magic (in my case Hoston and Allie), and you're only shown the energy of your first four characters. So, if you're not sure if Krueller needs to be healed, you have to leave the spell menu, open the inventory menu, and scroll to the end to see. Then, you have to reopen the spell menu and heal him.
The problem with this (besides having to close and reopen menus) is that characters have to physically be with you to be healed via magic, and I've had them get caught up on the environment a few times, which means guess what if you don't run back and get them? You can't heal them with spells if you leave the screen. So, I have to be running back to get them every time they get stuck.
On a postive note, I've been playing without the CD to hear the FM soundtrack, and it is OUTSTANDING. Seriously, the score to this game is freakin' great.
I've been playing with the CD soundtrack, but I constantly switch it back to FM via the options menu so I can hear what it sounds like as well.
When your fifth character sometime gets a camp mode spell, you will be able to see everyone's energy bar in the magic menu.Quote:

The thing is that it's totally different from the inventory option. In that one, I can scroll through each character and see everything, select an item, and use it - all on the same screen. You can even have one character use an item on another without having to leave the screen. It's great. In contrast, the spell menu seems like it was done by an entirely different person. It's not intuitive at all.
We all know healing is not exactly easy to do in 100% of the situations, but we didn't want to spend more days programming this (yes, its days, not minutes). Also its very easy to know the character health by looking in the inventory if there is really a trouble like you're saying (never had it myself however, cannot comment).
Just small annoyances time to time, so I'm thinking you're doing a little OCD about it.
Just walk in line before making your healing session... Easy. Every games has their own tweaks, piersolar is a new game, it has its own kirks.
Why is it that every time I make a comment a criticism I'm either venting or OCD? I'm making a legitimate observation about something in the game. Isn't that what this thread is for, or are we only supposed to post when we have praise?
The spell healing interface has problems, that's all I'm saying. It doesn't break the game or anything, but it's an issue.
At least it happens. In Legend of Wukong it never does. I never saw you address that complaint towards Legend of Wukong by the way.Quote:

Well, everyone can complain and rant about everything, fine. Just that when you complain about a detail like that. Yeah, well yeah, you complained about it. Fine. I agree too that we could have improved it if we had time.
I just can't imagine what kind of complain we would get if we had any serious "problem" on the game (like a feature nobody understand or even worse, a feature defect). That's a bit scary if you ask me because they are few hundred of existing games that wouldn't pass.
Same goes for the difficulty, got many people ranting because they had gameover once or twice... Maybe next game we will remove game over screen :)
