Pier Solar: Official Thread

I think that any release of Pier Solar in any other format/platform would be great. WM proved that can do a good job on the tech side, so whatever they decide to do, it will be acceptable at lest.
Also, it would make more people talk about this great game (KD would say "polished crap" instead) and remember that it was released for the Genesis in the first place...
Generally speaking, it would be great for the retro scene IMO.

Very unlikely.
Bastardcat is much worse IMO: the guy has a kinda just-created account with something like 700 posts already. He is always at "count to..." "Random video" "State something..." threads and whining with 99.9% of one/two line posts all the time. Never saw the guy doing one single thing to help someone or something like that...

At least, Clessy has a clear job here: suck WM's balls.

It's as interesting as watching grass grow. I don't aruge for banning people with contentious opinions unless they spam it and refuse to discuss ideas they put forward.
Go back and look at my history here with TheEdge for an example. It keeps the place alive by having multiple points of view on any given subject. Not as a point or purpose, but as an expression. If everybody agreed on everything, it would be the most boring and dead website on the internet.

Honestly, I've already read many of your posts talking about Pier Solar and I wasn't able to understand what you call "logic". I've saw many arguments from you that I would classify like "subjective reasons" to deplore the job done.
Maybe your logic is too complex for my comprehension, but that's how I saw it.

The "is that how you really feel" was a bit redundant, in that I'm pretty sure most people agree. This sort of thing goes on in every forum. I'm pretty sure he's just trying his best to suck up to the WM guys and get his name on some stuff. If he wants the Japanese editing job, then he can go for that. I'm pretty sure they need someone.

I know it's not my business to question the decisions of the mod squad (lol), but don't you think you're stretching the definition of "insulting" here just a little too thin? Or was the infraction more a means of getting a point across? I didn't know expressing ones reasons behind why they hate someone was considered "insulting".

On the other hand, was a Pier Solar hint guide or art book with production sketches ever discussed? I think it would be cool to see something like that with all the stuff that evolved and/or possibly got left out; if it was ever made I'd pick one up at $20-$30. I know CreateSpace also does like on demand publishing of books too.

Seriously, XBLA requires widescreen for its homebrew XNA stuff? Funny, cause I remember being able to play Symphony of the Night in letter box horizontal mode (though it had border graphics instead of black bars). I think PS port to another popular system like 360 or PS3 would give the Genesis/MD itself some more exposure (as people would learn of the game's roots).
