Pier Solar: Official Thread

I don't know guys. I am sure that whatever Watermelon does, it's going to be for the better cause. When I thought I would be let down by them in the past, they miraculously pulled through and offered more with Pier Solar than I could have ever imagined. I am sure that they will do everything in their power to make the customers/fans happy. Watermelon is awesome like that.

Edit - after reading my post, I realized that I should probably note that Watermelon did not pay me to say that, nor am I affiliated with them. :D

I have faith in them, whatever the problems are I can wait until they are all sorted out. I wonder what the news will be..

This morning I recieved the following email with respect to the OST, Reprint, Reprint EP, shipping and the issue about free gems. I am sure alot of you have recieved the following email as well but for those who have not, please read the following email below:

As you may have figured out, we have additional delay, probably two more weeks needed. Our apology for that.

Also, we had announced previously we would offer free GEMS but those never materialized. There is a simple reason for that, we needed some time to evaluate an even much better option called "free shipping". Yes, free shipping for all preorders and future orders. We just keep a small handling fee of 0.1-1usd to validate each shipment. A bargain.

For our European costumers we are also still adjusting shipping from within Europe. Means no unexpected taxes to be paid on your side. America costumers gets their game shipped from USA. Rest of the world will be case by case. All depending of the stocks, of course.

Yes. I received it last night. It states that they're contemplating on replacing said "free gems" with "free shipping", with an added "handling fee" ranging from a penny to a dollar.

This is awesome. I guess you could technically say that Watermelon has satellite offices in the US and Europe now. Will they eventually call them "Watermelon of America" and so on? Gettin' damn legit, guys! Good job!

WoA. - They'll probably come up with redesigned box art for EVERY SINGLE ONE of WM's games, ruin their reputation with gimmicky FMV games specifically made for the North-American market, and later switch (back) to cardboard boxes.

Oh, and then they wonder why no one would buy their new Super Thunder Drive III game for 32X, without even considering that WoJ having already announced a vastly improved Saturn port might have something to do with it.

I personally don't care about the free gems. I simply do not want to be charged an extra fee for shipping and handling. Let's see what route they decide to take.

at this point would it be worth ordering the game? i've heard some mixed responces in regards to how long the shipping takes. i'd like to order it but i'd like to hear some opinions first.

handling fee to release the parcel. Why is that necessary if you've already paid?

Did you already pay for shipping? I thought they were going to do away with shipping fees altogether in lieu of the handling fee which is actually very reasonable.

they seem to have stuck an extra 20 on the price to buy these now also

ya I just saw the price increase ,this game is a good investment in a few years maybe I'll flip it

Yes, it is very reasonable.

I personally just paid for my OST and the EP version, together. It was $1.
