Beyond Awesome, but a few questions.
Seeing that you reserve the right to push the pre-order launch date to May "before refund" on the main page is a little jarring to me.
I'm by any means, no expert on retail industry what-so-ever, but having some minor experience with the issue, pertaining to the american market in particular...You can't "back order" anything without consent, and are required to toss any financial info or obligation within 3 months. I know it's an FTC regulation, one that's commonly abused by a large number of reputable companies, but whatever...not really the issue, but similar in direction to my questions.
I'm just curious if you guys have looked into the laws pertaining pre-orders, if they exist at all. To cover your own asses of course.
Or would it just fall to the standard "Paypal lords over all" sensibilities?
Also, What country is this being sold out of?
While I think that this is the best piece of homebrew I've ever seen, and I can't believe how awesome the beta itself is, that "reserved right" and it's far off date did kill my current plan to pre-order.
I assumed that the game was finished for the preordering, and that it only influenced the manufacturing of everything, Is this the main concern regarding a chance of possible delay? Or is the game actually still being debugged or something?
As it stands, I'll be sure to pick it up after launch and reviews, assuming it's still available and not built to order by a set number.
