Neat about the guide, though. Count me in to purchase one of those.

Is there a need for another MD variant, really? If so, how would it differ?

I hated the ending by the way.

For one, you're already making an HD version for various systems. How would it differ? preferably by not having the words "re-print edition" all over it. ;)

Yes, but we can't exactly make an HD version for MD, although the better version says "High Definition Graphics" on it, ironically. It says "reprint edition" once on the front and twice on the back, not "all over it". Re-releases usually have a name applied to it like "platinum edition" or "classic edition" written on it, it's perfectly normal.

I'm just busting your balls about the 4th variant. I'm actually satisfied, but can't wait to get my hands on a copy of the original "Genesis" classic print. Then I'd be set.

Basically, it's WM taking the "Cracker Jack Box" approach regarding what you're extra goodie is. It could come with anything, ranging from a three or four-song CD (which is randomly selected from a pooling of various unsigned bands), to a taping of a European Parliament session.

Looks beautiful. Once I get a new job or other stable source of income I'm buying it...if I still can.

So you can buy the guide if you didn't pledge for one of the kickstarter special editions?

I pledged for a standard Dreamcast release, but couldn't afford to go all in for the special edition. Especially considering the only thing I really wanted from it besides the game was the guide.
