I've had a 20 minute blast and so far it seems exceptionally well made! It "feels" like Sonic. The level design is very Sonic CD-like, for better or worse.
I'll give it a proper run through this week.
this looks like a standout effort in a literal see of sonic fangames/hacks. nice find barone!
I've been playing this since yesterday and I'm really enjoying it. I love the music and just the whole feel of the game. I got to the snow level (Frigid Fortress I think), spinning around on those orbs is a cool idea. Haven't had this much fun with a Sonic game since playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles for the 1st time!
I wonder what the minimum Windows version is. I notice it requires Direct X 9.0c, I think I'll try it out on Windows ME. :p
I'm guessing the guy/s behind it is British; the game is littered with references to the UK Sonic comic.
And also slow gameplay as are Sonic games in PAL regions.Quote:
