I live in Dallas. I've never seen one in Best Buy, Walmart or Target here. I've only seen one in Dallas at a Movie Trading Company, and they wanted you to purchase a $100 gift card to get it. I did finally get one a couple of weeks ago at a TRU in Dallas, and the only reason I looked there was because I saw 2 them at a Houston Target the week before. The Best Buy next to that TRU didn't have Jack for the Classic.
To think I kept seeing Youtubers talk about how they kept finding loads of the NES Classic Mini at their local stores and how they just didn't feel like picking one up. Over here, it was like a myth if you managed to get one. I wonder if the next batch of NES Classic Minis are going to be the exact same ones as before, or if they're going to change the game line up or even the box art a bit.
I'm still trying to get a NES Classic 2nd controller.
They sell 2nd party ones from Toys R Us and GameStop.
Fry's had a ton of them about a year ago. I haven't really paid attention to if they have them now though.Quote:

Duh, Nintendo has been doing this for 30 years at least. You'd think people would have caught on. We literally just got done with Nintendo doing the same thing with Amiibos. And, off the top of my head, they did it with the Wii, N64, GameCube, Mario 3, and I believe other cartridge games as well due to "chip shortages."Quote:

The SNES Classic is fairly easy to find these days. Twelve or so must have been on various shelves during my travels today.
This Target had just one. I visited a Toys R Us last week (that's where I found mine), for what might be the very last time, since they are about to be under foreclosure. I did not see one in that store. I've only had 4 sightings of the console at stores since its release and 3 of those were just a single unit.
