There's a lot of room for interpretation when it comes to deciding what a port is. The strict definition probably says it's the conversion of code and artwork from one platform to the other with little-to-nothing new being made. A broader definition might say a completely reworked game can still be a port if its gameplay mechanics match the original. But then you get into vague territory considering what the difference between a port and a sequel might be, particularly in the case of games such as Bomberman.
I'm more inclined to limit the list to games where significant artwork/code/music assets were clearly converted (yeah, not so easy to know for code...). There are a ton of Bomberman games, and in the case of the arcade Bomberman and Mega Bomberman, yes, they do look the same, but then again ALL Bomberman games look the same because they have a very simple style. But those two games were developed by different companies and released years apart and there's no indication that anything was actually ported, so I would consider it more along the lines of a sequel or another entry in a series of similar games.
