Unfortunately that is not what this place is. Your friends know you, and you know them, so you all know what you can get away with. There are things I would not dream of saying on these boards for this reason, things said in jest like your comment included. I don't know anyone on this forum, so any jokes are kept pretty clean.

This kind of stuff can come back to bite you, maybe moreso on 'proper' social media, granted.

I think you ought to reevaluate what kind of place this is, it is definitely not the place you think it is.

I haven't even been following the thread except to see a bunch of follow ups that don't seem related to SimCity at all. What happened anyway? It seems there was some drama in the NA thread for this too. Apparently, this game generates bad reactions for the same reasons, i.e. the video. I don't care or see why people are making mountains out of molehills.

There's saying you don't like something, and then there's saying something sexist like what bultje said. I've seen his temper go bad on other sites, but not for things like this.
