Well, Mega Drive Bowlsey, you sure live up to your name. But, where are you replying from?

I'll ask a better question.
Why are you referencing a game magazine buyers guide from like TWENTY YEARS AGO to make this point?
Talking about that EGM guide is kind of irrelevant today. Back in 1996/97 the SNES may of represented a better buy than the Saturn, based on the sheer number of games available and the hardware price. But like I said 20 years ago man.
In 1996 I picked up a PS1. :D
I like the Saturn tho.. cool system and cool games. SNES is cool too. :D
I hand the podium back over to Theif to explain How to Push out the Perfect Poo.
I answered that many times already. It helped start (or added soon after) the negative light to masses about Saturn that continues to this day. Sort of like that recent IGN list ranking 7800 better than Saturn.
Noted.Quote:

Ok. So...again, which one do you prefer 20 years later?Quote:

Anti Sega console bias by some game magazines has been around for ages. I'm sure the EGM 1999/2000 buyers guide probably rated the PS1 above the Dreamcast. Its been debated to death already.
I already answered that. They both have games I like.
Ok, so like Thief a tie then.
SNES is not my favorite system of all time but I do consider it the greatest console ever made. My Favorite is Dreamcast then SNES then Saturn then PS4 and if things continue to improve Switch may enter that 5th spot.
Why do you consider the SNES the greatest ever made?
