Agreed the Cart based music from the 32X and N64 was such a step backwards from what was done on the Mega CD and PC Eng CD Rom2, never mind the Saturn or PS. Core alone were ace on the Mega CD and never mind class like the Y's music score on PC Eng CD

It's funny how childish you become, even to the point a rather bad comparison of Wing Commander on the Mega CD, which I gather is using the mighty Mega Drive sound chip for the most part (which you make out to be wonderful) comparing it a PC CD Rom version (with added expensive of not just a CD Rom drive but new Sound Card)or the remake version on a 800 quid 32 bit console or a PSX version of the game, that no one played . All because you don't like it that some like the Snes sound over the MD.

So for that, you knock SEGAs 16-bit CD Hardware, bash SEGAs 32bit CD system and then add in personal insults

Each ADF disk image file is 880k (standard Amiga disk size), 4 x 880k according to my computer is 3.43MB total.

Anoter so called SEGA fan with a Grude. I thought Flashback was the same size on both the MD and Amiga and that most Amiga games used the lower disc space to increase reliability on the discs . Get past your hate, there's plenty of single disc Amiga games that featured better music than the MD counter parts like Speedball 2, Turrican, Lotus 2

Because unlike your or Barone, I don't see listing a system shortcoming has meaning you're not a fan or can't love the said system. I love the Saturn, but the PS had the better 3D polygon hardware and better Alpha hardware, so what. I love the MS but I would say most time the NES games sounded better, again so what.

You are aware (I hope) that the superior sound of the MegaCD is because most of the audio is standard CDDA tracks that you can listen to on a bog standard CD player right? Most are not chip generated. Even that Lunar game that you were furiously circle-jerking of to over on the previous page. As for the mode 7 effects, sorry it still wasn't worth £270 for a glorified CD player and some limited graphical effects of which hardly any games used.

No, I didn't deny it and is it true that Flashback was bigger on the Amiga that the MD, If it was I stand corrected. There's still plenty of 1 Disc games that sounded better, or do you feel that Lotus II, Speedball 2 sound better on the MD.

It was you that brought up the Amiga, no one else. The discussion was about how audio affected the cart sizes on the SNES and MD. The Amiga wasn't part of the discussion until you brought it up. I personally feel that it is irrelevant.

I am from the UK and gave zero shits about either the NES or Master System, they both looked inferior to the games on the Amiga. I only started to be interested in consoles when I heard about the Megadrive.

The Dreamcast looked great and I initially did prefer it to the PS2, however Sega had pretty much fucked itself and the system and it never really stood a chance.

I think you find the likes of Souky or NiGHTS don't do that on the Saturn and I simply said that I didn't care if came off-chip or CD as long as the music was top quality, that to me is the most important.

I'm from the UK too and liked the Amiga, but I wouldn't think its fair to compare a 16 bit home computer to a 8-bit console myself. Seems you weren't much of a SEGA fan then, so why you get so wound up over the Snes Vs the MD is a little beyond me. And as someone who doesn't like either the Saturn or the Snes, I do wonder what you are doing in the Saturn section and in a Snes VS Saturn thread for added irony.
