Get a life, Loser.
Society loves labels and the state indoctrinates the masses by applying labels at every given opportunity.
Indoctrination is when you think you're making your own choices as Commander Shepherd but you're really being controlled by the Reapers.
Thief, when are you going to start schilling supplements?
Get a job!
If you can.
Well instead of calling you can an asshole I'll give you my opinion.
In the strictest sense yes it is different. Do many teachers and professors use their position in the educational system to indoctrinate their students? Well of course. I took a college level American history class with a female teacher named Scott who ,while was quite friendly would have the whole class believe the US has never done any good. Everything she taught was true but very selective. She clearly was trying pound that idea in our heads and not even question it. I've had many frustrated teachers of all subjects end up rambling about their beliefs instead teaching the lesson plan. I don't think they meant to shove their beliefs down my throat but that's what they did.
In the macro sense if someone doesn't believe an idea that is being taught then they might judge it indoctrination.
I suppose it's a "eye of the beholder sorta of thing."
Then of course when
Some people on this forum are truly awful people. Seems like they have nothing but insults and hate to spew. No wonder traffic is pretty much dead, I imagine most members moved on from the constant negativity. Seems like the mods don't even wanna be here, you barely see them.
Someone on Reddit warned me about this forum. They were dead right. It's like some of these guys can't wait to get on Sega-16 and bicker with each other, call each other names, and just plain be douchebags to each other. I've seen better behavior in YouTube comments.
I thought my existence was worthless and depressing. These same few members must hate life more than me. It's just awful.
Nah it's not that bad. All the car forums I'm on, even Volvo forums, are a 1000 times worse.
Only scratching the surface. Think about that Nikola Tesla quote in the opening post. Even Einstein has a similar quote.

I agree with the Tesla quote. After all that's almost the dictionary definition of indoctrination. -"the process of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically."
It's such a huge debate it's difficult for me not to give a wishy washy answer.
Like how clearly you don't understand how annoying you are? lol, I stuck up for your annoying ass when everyone was calling you annoying. http://storage.proboards.com/6576594...cIdXoyOSNa.png
Indoctrination is when you believe your choices matter in any way other than getting a red, green, or blue ending.
Public school becomes more like the Frankfurt School every year, and this is intentional. If you have children, be sure to take an active part in their education, so that leftist indoctrination does not turn them into some of the humanoid toxic waste dumps that infest social media these days. Or, you know, to be a decent parent who doesn't hand off their responsibilities to the state. Because the state makes people like me. Well, no, I don't go around assaulting people like most others raised by the state.
On the contrary most members who have been around for a few years get along fine. We seem to have a similar sense of humor, similar interests, and overall are rather laid back and like to have some fun and enjoy the forum. Now, when we have your typical attention whores (Ex: Tasuke, Thief, Vector, Mr.Sega, etc.) they typically don't last too long. Their attention seeking behavior gets on peoples nerves very quickly and if after a few subtle prods they don't get the hint that they need to change their behavior, well that's when things get interesting. Some of the more passive members will just start ignoring them, while some of the more trollish members like myself will start to have a little fun. Eventually some members will reach there limit and just start being blunt.
Another kind of behavior that doesn't tend to fly well here is blatant fanboyism and know-it-all technobabble that's not accurate or true. It's one thing if you actually have some idea what you're talking about. But when you start spouting utter nonsense and wont bend even when there's mountains of evidence against your stance, then you're going to find it unpleasant here. See sheath for an example of that.
Long story short, you are in control of your behavior. Don't act like an attention seeking prick and you'll get by just fine. Learn when to admit you're wrong and move on. Learn to take a few jokes and roll with the punches and you'll have a good time. Basically at the end of the day, we here at Sega-16 do not care about your personal life, your sexual fetishes, your political views, etc. We just enjoy Sega games and systems as well as gaming and retro gaming in general and like to talk about it. Stick to that mindset and you'll do fine here.
I wish I could say he would see your post but you might want to check-in on the ECM thread trekkies. He sorta blew up at you after you replied to him that last time in there.
This is nuts!
If you have negativity in your heart, then that’s all you will see. That thought crossed my mind a few weeks ago when you were talking about how horrible your life was (including how you got fired because you showed up high to work, which was apparently not your fault).
Me, I look around this place and see the same forum you do, but I don’t see it as negative. Go figure. :?
For those interested in the answer to this thread. I've EDITED my opening post.
You're only proving my point and Trek's point, Thief, even if NeoVamp is being an asshole.
Thief, you live in Canada, the biggest HDI of America.
I'm sure there must be a well equipped public library somewhere next to you, where you can actually study these topics. Or perhaps you can seek a public university or course, I don't know.
What I do know is that you are not going to achieve any form of enlightenment or specialization in any particular field of subject by dwelling on internet forums, especially here of all places.
So you're conducting an anthropology study right here on Sega-16?
Also, dialectic is the proper term that you're looking for and for that to take place a minimal knowledge of the topic that's being discussed is required.
And I'm guessing those requirements can't be met here, sorry.
I'm honestly not trying to be a dick here and as someone who has actually studied the subject, I ask of you to think carefully about what I wrote on my previous post.
Communicating with anyone is always a study.
