USA, bee-yotches.
Kingdom of Sweden.
EDIT: Are you at and/or from South Korea?
United Kingdom, England to be exact.
Earth.
USA to be specific.
-_-;; Eesh, I start the poll and I don't tell where I'm from.
Seoul, Korea
East Bumfuck New York, USA.
In five weeks I'll be leaving this hell-hole, and going to another hell-hole for six and a half weeks.
I'm from Europe/Russia (technically Russia is part of Europe anyway so linking the two seems odd). More specifically the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I also have delusions of our Empire never being dissolved and will happily claim we own the majority of the world.
Isn't only part of Russia Europe, like to the Ural mountains? (Like it matters; just saying...)
Both. Born here, lived somewhere else, came back.Quote:

England. Whether we're a part of Europe or not depends on who you're talking to and their political slant - which means we can get away with being European whenever it suits us :D
Its a word sometimes used to describe a nothing town.Quote:

In August 2006, Watertown made minor national news when Reverend Timothy LaBouf of First Baptist Church of Watertown, N.Y., also a city councilman, fired Mary Lambert, his church's Sunday School teacher of 54 years, for being a woman. LaBouf cited as reason a change in church policy to interpret literally the first epistle to Timothy: "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent." Mayor Jeffrey Graham was disturbed by this action and said: "If what's said in that letter reflects the councilman's views, those are disturbing remarks in this day and age. Maybe they wouldn't have been disturbing 500 years ago, but they are now." The decision by Timothy LaBouf and other leaders of First Baptist Church of Watertown, N.Y., was rebuked by several other Christian leaders such as J.Lee Grady.
Watertown gained national attention when Watertown native and supermodel, Maggie Rizer, filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Mayor Graham and several other defendants. Rizer's stepfather, John Breen, Jr. had pirated as much as $7,000,000 from Rizer's financial accounts so he could play the State-sponsored lottery game, Quick Draw, at several taverns - most notably Mayor Graham's bar, Speak Easy. Breen was convicted and sent to prison on several felony counts. Mayor Graham was forced to give up his State lottery license. This story was featured on a May 2005 episode of ABC's news magazine 20/20.
And the current mayor is running for reelection, and the reverend is running for mayor as well. Putting the current mayor's controversy aside, he's not too bad of a mayor.
Can't say I'll miss this area if he doesn't get reelected.
You trying to say there is no such thing as "slang" in your native tongue?Quote:

Man they piss me off. They don't go when the light turns green. They just sit there. Ill be going and they bolt past me like I'm sitting stil.l Then they tailgate even when two other lanes are open. The random cutoff is my favorite. I get cut off all the time even when there is plenty of space. Its like they just like to cut people off for no reason.Quote:

Visit Chicago sometime. Literally, as soon as the light turns green they honk at you to move.Quote:

I know exactly what you mean, but Bush seriously destroyed americas reputation. Hell, bridges are collapsing, everythings falling apart because everything was built in the golden age of the '70s. I really like America, it has so much freakin potential, but the current president is a total letdown. He spoiled americas reputation so far down...Quote:
