This one is burned into my memory. It isn't an original game song, but a payed for one. A short clip of it would play when when you failed a license test in Gran Turismo 4. Anyone that has played that game knows how frustrating trying to get the licenses can be.

For me, it's the awful noise Ecco made when he got hit in the first game. That never went away. XD
Another one that haunted my childhood nightwares, was the music that played after you picked the wrong grail in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. That made my naive younger self hide under the bed. :S

The speech and alert sound effects in Black Tiger have always stood out to me. The sound effects in general are unique and effective.
The speech sound in Wardner is probably my favorite of all time. Wardner and Snow Bros have the coolest type of sound.
Sinistar's (actual) speech pretty much made the game and never gets old. It was so scary hearing that as a 6 year old. Comparable to stumbling upon screaming enemies in the dark in Doom for the first time.
Yeah, my experience with Sinistar was similar. That just came out of nowhere and startled me. I spent years remembering the game vividly but not the name of the game. I almost always remembered game names but it wasn't until over a decade later when it showed up in a compilation that I got reminded. It sucked not being able to just look up whatever game info you wanted in the pre-internet age.

At the same time, the voice at the very end for the xbox bit. It sound like Keith David. He does a ton of miscellaneous voice acting, and I swear I hear him everywhere.Quote:
