Bioware is dead. RIP. Anthem looks nothing special. Just really shiny but mediocre game. Kinda been Bioware since Dragon Age 2. :(

Anthem looks fantastic. But if it doesn't't allow for offline single player like the Borderlands series, count me out.

When I seen her on stage I cringed. So she replaced Drew leaving yet again, which also has me worried that not all is well at BioWare if he just left so soon after just arriving. (Not to mention the boatload of other BioWare members jumping ship)Quote:

I wasn't awake for this conference, but that doesn't matter because I don't see a single game I'd be interested in. Like a Dante's Inferno sequel.
I'm very interested in Anthem, I don't think there is anything wrong with the "shared-world" Destiny style concept. It's all down to execution, if they implement what Destiny 1 promised to be but still hasn't delivered to this day even after a sequel, there will be something special there.
That said, the obvious "problem" with the divide between old and new Bioware is that this isn't a "single player RPG", and I seriously doubt they can pull off a great single player game within the shared-world looter shooter concept. You can't compare Anthem with a Baldurs Gate, Mass Effect or DA:O because it's not trying to be that.
This is the first year I am trying to watch not just the console makers conferences. I expected nothing from EA and got nothing. Don't expect anything from Bethesda either but I do expect Square to give me something other than PS4 US DQXI footage. I'm hoping for NSW footage even if a 2019 release (no doubt it will be 2019) and maybe a new RPG announcment. Devolver will have metal Wolf Chaos and I am MEGA hyped for that but nervous about platforms. I just hope it's on PS4 at least. I will watch the MS conference but every E3 they have had this gen has been a total bust. I will watch Ubi since they finally got rid of the annoying bitch with terrible jokes and tried to be edgy. The one thing that will make this E3 for me is Devil May Cry V. Anything else is a bonus. The time will come for DMCV and so will I.
