Mario Kart Double Dash has one of if not the best Rainbow Road
David Cage games look nice on a technical level.
Tales series has nice music most of the time.
Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze has an excellent OST
The Witcher 2 made me laugh with the Ass Creed joke.
Mighty No 9 has a great theme song and it got Capcom to make Mega Man 11.
Indigo Prophecy has the funniest thing ever put in a game. Office bugs.
Final Fantasy VII again nice OST.
Devil May Cry 2. Taught them to make DMC3.
DmC seems to have made Capcom make DMCV. Proper DMC.

I hate FF8. Laguna was the lone bright spot, and if the entire game was about him (which also means no Draw system), 8 could've been my favorite mainline FF. A game where the hero uses a machine gun and constantly gets leg cramps is the game we should've gotten. Laguna could've been to FF protags what Jack Burton was to John Wayne action heroes. He's the anti-Cloud.

Persona 3 has a great soundtrack.

Gravity Rush 2. I like the PSO and Nier costumes.

You seem to dislike a lot of games. I mean, Gravity Rush 2? The hell is wrong with that game? The first Gravity Rush was awesome.

The missions are terrible and the stealth missions..dear god they suck. Believe me, I loved the first game. I was so looking forward to this game. Insanely slow start. 2 hours before the game starts. They improved the mechanics somewhat but the motion flying is still clunky as hell or actually worse on PS4 as it works better on Vita. Then we get to the missile mission. I was able to push past the other issues but that was the thing that made me put down the game. Oh, it's so badly designed. One of those camera sucks, controls suck, timed missions with a very limited amount and a single tiny mistake and you're boned to restart it. After an hour I quit but on the plus side made me buy Yakuza 0 which got me into the series and became my GOTY. One day I may try again and may grow back into liking it as I have done in the past with some games but until then. Gravity Rush 2 was my biggest let down of 2017 of one of my most hyped games for that year. I was so happy to get it. I almost never get burned but that burned like 3rd-degree burns over 70% of the body.

I love plenty of games I just mainly talk about games I dislike more. It's a weird quirk. I dunno why I just do. The few times I do express real love it gets ignored or get called a fanboy or something. So whatever. Talk about stuff I like. Ignored/Called out. Stuff I dislike. Get told I hate all video games. rofl

Back on topic and speaking of hyped games that burned me. Pier Solar. Horribly balanced game in battles. Why is every town a confusing poorly designed maze along with dungeons? Why does the game favor enemies far more than the player? Why is the battle system so lousy. Why do I need to fight through a stupidly designed maze to get to a boss who is OP than with little health fight my way back out the maze only to get a cutscene with a boss fight again with no recovery time? HORRIBLE game design....but fantastic music!

FF 7 - Poor boring RPG, but it did have lovely FMV.

After Burner 3 (Mega CD) Horrible game, but my GOD the music score was ace.

Wild Woddy - That bonus stage music

Metal Gear Soild 2 - The intro was amazing

Fifa 97 - The indoor mode was quite fun

Donkey Kong Country - The snow stage looked completely amazing

Earnest Evans - The front cover looked great

Virctory Goal - The SEGA chant.

Sonic 3D Blast - the Genesis music was magnificent. Saturn music was bland, uninspired redbook fare by comparison.

Mega Man X7: This game was shit. And not in a passive aggressive “I-didn’t-love-it-so-that-means-I-hate-it” kind of way (*cough* TC) ... this game was awful.

But the OST has some very good tracks, which I still listen to regularly.

Sonic Mania has some decent comedy mixed in, and great soundtrack and graphics. It just feels shallow.

Lionheart (Amiga) has gorgeously detailed art, even if it is basically monochromatic with a gradient on top and the game plays like shit.

My dad had the best of intentions when he bought me Madden 95 in 1995 for my 16th birthday.:)

01. Sea of Thieves - The graphics are easy on the eyes. For about 10 minutes it's really funny getting drunk in the game.

02. Star Wars: Battlefront (2015) - The graphics and sound are top tier.

03. Bart vs The Space Mutants - The cover art suggests a really fun game.

04. Minecraft - Hmmmmm...one of my daughters kinda likes it?

05. Smash Bros. Series - The games look nice, and instantly inspire me to play another fighter I might not have played otherwise.

06. Black Hole Assault - Was one of the first Sega CD games that I bought, so it has that nostalgic "awww, I remember owning you, you terrible little piece of shit" feeling going for it. Similar to kinda fondly remembering the stinky kid in class from 30+ years ago.

07. Oni - The cover art is really cool and shiny!

08. Enter the Matrix - That the story and cut scenes were a part of the cannon felt really cool at the time.

09. Deadly Towers - I like that it doesn't seem aware of its sense of humor.

10. Bubsy 3D - Inspires that kind of feeling that you get when you slow down to gawk at a car accident. That weird curiosity of "how bad is it?".

The (very brief) time I had playing Sonic Forces made me thankful for Mania.
