Do people still beat videogames?

I beat plenty of games, but I do not have time or patience for especially long ones. A modern game should be wrapped up in 8-12 hours. It’s gotta be pretty special for me to be happy about giving it more than 20.

i haven't beaten a game in a long time. i just can't be pressed to sit there for three hours knowing i'm gonna have another 10 days of gaming to see the story. i simply don't have the time and energy or attention span to do it anymore.

I've just beaten Curse of the Moon; to be honest, I generally favour retro games at this stage in my life, for two reasons: they're much shorter/to-the-point, and I generally don't play online. When I pick up a "big" game, say something like Witcher 3 or even some older RPGs (Baldur's Gate and the like), it takes me forever to finish them, and I like to beat every game that I start. This is why I don't waste time on what I consider crap usually - reviews of such games etc. are often times pretty funny though.
