Would a Doom port have been possible with the SVP?
Just out of curiosity let's pretend that Sega never even thought of the 32X and stuck with the SVP, releasing Virtua Fighter and Daytona USA with it and maybe perhaps still making consoles today?? :lol:
Anyway, would a Doom port have been possible using the SVP chip? Would it have had to use a custom engine similar to the Super FX 2 SNES Doom? Could it have been even better than the SNES port? I've read that the SVP was more powerful than the Super FX 1 & 2.
