And that's fine. Seems as if you are assuming a bit though. Certain black women have a habit of keeping hot sauce in their purses so if they are at a venue eating and they feel the food isn't seasoned to their liking, they will break out with their hot sauce. This can be at a restaurant, church luncheon, guest at a house, or a movie theater. No other race does this, and if they do, it's a fluke. Do you personally know any women in your life who will do this? Do you keep hot sauce handy when away from home? Clinton was pandering. She is a professional and knows the African American culture like the back of her hand. You are assuming too much. And don't lecture on a culture I was born in.

I'd like it if people would stop worshiping her. She laughed at a girl whose rapist she defended, referred to everyone who accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault as "bimbos", referred to young black men as "super-predators", adored Robert Byrd, and that's just the things that are on camera. She also declared that the United States needed a strong southern border to keep illegal immigrants out, which makes one a bigot of some sort these days.

See I like to understand the world, so I look up things like what u just said. I wouldn't mind if someone convinced me of something bad about her, but everything always seems meaningless.

Robert Byrd: Well I never heard of the guy, nor do I know what she admired about him. I would have guessed it was something to do with his actions in government.

I doubt she was specifically praising his racism. I usually hate to throw out the claim of not being racist because someone has black friends, but... The Clintons are friends and supporters of the Obamas, and vice-versa. (And Bill was considered as good toward the black community.)

I will research the Clinton Crime Bill. What I can say, though, is that I tend to think of Obama's presidency as basically a continuation of the Clinton Admin, and Obama was well-known to make progress on releasing nonviolent offenders (like drug users). Obama was also a later presidency with a more progressive bent than the Clintons, in context that cultural attitudes had grown more progressive, in general.

I also gotta say that I really don't like it that politics has seeped into the Sega-16 forums so much lol. But I guess the Off-Topic section can include anything. It seems a sign of the times that politics has made the whole world crazy the last few yrs lol.
