Thanks, OK so there was a specific time when people were making money by selling burned discs. I did not realize it. Thanks for the read. I wasn't familiar with such a scene but I did get into Napster and Limewire BITD, both of which were free, of course.
Also, the video is still outdated for rapping about it 2009 lol. AFAIK. The thing that is self-contradictory is that when most people have internet, then it doesn't seem possible to sell discs of content that anyone could access online for free.
The closest thing that I see nowadays are the small stores that sell cheap burned DVD's, but they have a cheap case too, so it could be worth a few dollars, for the physical package (as cheaply made as it is).
Nowadays, I can't imagine teenagers making money by hosting file-sharing sites or selling burned discs... Then again, maybe I'm just out of the loop lol.
