I'm actually pretty stoke about this one, it really is one of the best beam em ups on the snes. It's great to know many who missed out on it will now have a chance to try it.

Yeah posted this in the random thoughts topic a few days ago. This is a remake not an enhanced port/remaster in the same style as Wild Guns Reloaded. I love Ninja Warriors but my only gripe is this remake NEEDS the Daddy Mulk music. The arcade game has one of the best soundtracks ever. SNES music is forgettable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFjv6_p7qRE
Now yes, much more well done than wild guns, they are refining all asstes to new era, i noticed it on video.

This looks fantastic, but I don't own, nor really want a Switch, or any of these new consoles. But my goodness, this is how I like my remakes, no HD sprites, but excellent pixel art. And I love me some Taito, and Natsume.

Interesting.
Will the new version allow for 2 players and some teamplay moves? :P

The last screenshot in that second post actually shows two players (no idea why the HUD only shows one player but there are clearly two of the playable characters there).
