Personally aside from Metal Gear Rising,never been a fan of the series but this game despite how Metal Gear is looks and sounds (yet it's a Square IP) looks and sounds great to me. I will say tho I did also enjoy Front Mission evolved for what it was. So maybe I'm not the best person to ask about this series lol. I just like mecha and TPS games.
A piece of shit on the curb is more Metal Gear than MG Survive - the game is simply a cash grab using MGS5's assets. Nothing more, nothing less.
I am a Front Mission fan, and am surprised to hear that anyone still cares about the franchise. To hear someone applaud this above a Metal Gear game is certainly a compliment. Most people don't have the patience or intelligence these days to embrace the FM series. Into the Breach on PC/Steam mine as well be a tribute to the series, though. Highly recommended.
Even the fucking music is Metal Gear ROFL! SO they are not making a Front Mission game but a Metal Gear game with the Front Mission IP..what the fuck? lol Whatever I'm still pretty damn interested in the game.
