Since a Saturn Mini won't be a thing anytime soon, I'm hoping that they eventually decide to make a Nomad-style, portable version of this.

Actually, I liked the Neo Geo Mini, think I'm the only one looking forward to Sonic the movie, so not quite hating on everything.
Pleased that SEGA has given the job to M2 for the coding on the Mini and gone the extra mile like having the cart port abled be opened and shut, same about the lack of 6 buttons in Europe but the device seems nice enough and hopefully like the Snes mini be a piece of cake to hack.
People who have seen it said it feels like a Michael Bay movie. Previews have not been kind lol. Shocker but the movie will be a trainwreck. The premise of the film doesn't sound a whole lot different than that horrid Woody Woodpecker film. This might be better than that but that's just like saying the shit I took today felt better than the shit I took yesterday.
I mean if you want to compare some video game characters done right, Look at the new Detective Pikachu movie. Those models look fantastic and I'm not even nowhere near a fucking Poke'mon fan.
I haven't seen the final film and hopefully some of the 100 million dollar budget will be spent on some nice effects. I've no issue with the desgin , some of the Marvel or DC characters saw huge difference with the design of the Comic book version to their big screen counter parts. I think it should be a fun film.
You know a walking, taking Hedgehog that could run faster than the sound barrier was pretty ridiculous from the outset . But I have to see what the finished film is like.
The Japanese version just got 10 more games announced:
Thunderforce III
Super Fantasy Zone
Musha
World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
Streets of Rage 2
The Hybrid Front
Landstalker
Contra: Hard Corps
Dyna Brothers 2
Game no Kanzume Otokuyou (a collection of download-only games)
Musha Aleste, very nice :D List looks good so far!
Huh, and I was reading earlier that they were gonna skip any game that would be hard to license (so no sports or movie games). I guess it's easier for them to negotiate with Disney than I thought.
They've been rereleased so many times now that it'd be more appropriate to call them ex-download-only games ;P
EDIT: found the new ones in the US lineup https://www.siliconera.com/2019/04/1...d-shinobi-iii/
- Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse
- Contra: Hard Corps
- Earthworm Jim
- Landstalker
- Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- Streets of Rage 2
- Super Fantasy Zone
- Thunder Force III
- World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck
…we should probably start making lists of all announced games for each region (to help keep track of what has been confirmed so far).
Bloodlines AND Hard Corps??
SEGA please....my wallet can only carries so much cash.
Fingers crossed that Thunder Force IV is announced next.
So far, this line up has been killing it.
Yeah, Musha not being on that list while it's in the Japanese one sucks. On the other hand, 20 games have to be announced yet, and this batch included one game that was present in the first Japanese batch (Sonic 2), so there's still hope, especially seeing as Musha has an English localization.
By the way, turns out the second batch in Europe is the same as for the US (aside from obviously using Probotector instead of Contra Hard Corps :P), so there's that.
Musha needs to eventually land on the U.S. list. That game is way too much fucking money for it's own good.
