Stranger Things Season 3
King of the Hill.
Bab5 wasn't doing it for me but I may just not be in a sci fi mood for now.

Glow Season 3
It sucked. They had pretty much no wrestling and it just takes place inside the hotel feeling claustrophobic and some Rocky Horror Picture show club or something. It went way too serious. Only positive is more Alison Brie nudity and for those into the male nudity, it has that as well. Whole season felt aimless. Like it experimenting. Mixed results for me. There are mayb2 2 episodes with wrestling and only one has gone any longer than 5 minutes. Eh, I guess Geena Davis tits are not bad for her age. Yeah sorry nudity is really all this season had lol

1991 "The Haunted" is a horror movie made for T.V.. It appears a VHS CBS Fox catalog might exist but otherwise this movie is extremely rare and unlikely to be found.
However, there does appear to be some vhs rips of low quality but even these are hard to come by.
There is finally one rip that seems to be very transparent and possibly the best quality that can be found of NTSC for this movie. It appears ripped from a digital "Encore TV" station. It has a flaw where the station logo shows on bottom right of screen but considering the high quality it's forgivable. You can also make out some analog artifacts from the broadcast analog master since the quality is so high. I don't think better quality is possible in NTSC.
High quality rip can sometimes be found on DVDr and usually has a low quality copy case label with a VHS catalog number from Fox Video (and Fox Video logo on front & back) and has some blue (the dvdr I got has high quality disc label). Low quality rip on DVDr usually doesn't show CBS Fox on case label and is mostly black with wavy letters of title in front of house (lightning next to house).
Couldn't match frame but think you can still make out difference.

A few things:
1.) The supposed haunted house is about 5 minutes from my home in the next town over. I pass Chase Street quite often and many times have I wanted to go and snap some photos.
2.) Around here it was news worthy during the mid 1980's and there was so much talk (much like Amityville) that it was a hoax and such but who knows. Recently I heard someone claim the Smurls admitted to making it up so who knows.
3.) YT has a decent upload of it I recently watched.
4.) One thing always bugging me is how they did not tell Kirkland the proper way to say Wilkes Barre as she says it right in the beginning of the film clearly as someone who never heard of it nor lived in the area. Just a pet peeve.

How long could humanity last if a virus killed almost everyone on the planet and left all the survivors – and all their future descendents – completely blind?
The premise might be somewhat silly but it's original and detailed enough to warrant a look.
The costume and weapons design is really good and adds to the immersion. And the choreography and tension of the fight scenes is top notch, IMO.

Finished watching The Mandalorian. Good God, that is how you do a Star Wars series. "But how do I see it if I don't want to give corrupt Disney any money?" Well, I'm not sure, but it should be as easy as one, two, four. 😉

A wealthy couple hire a nanny to look after their new "baby".
Odd psychological thriller, very atmospheric and somewhat unsettling. This one is right up there on the creepy-o-meter.
I've only seen the first few episodes and thus far it's looking like a slow-burn type of a show, but in a good way.
Lost in Space season 2 and later probably Witcher.
Finished watching Witcher season 1.
I thought it was... okay, enjoyable enough, but lacking a real pull-you-in draw.
Some episodes were good, others were poor. The dragon episode was lolz. The dragon itself looked stupid as all hell. Like something out of Kevin Sorbo's Hercules.
Cavill's acting seems a bit wooden but that makes sense since his character is supposed to not feel human emotions. So he's doing the character, just that the character is a bit bland. Action I'm happy with, it gets quite a lot more visceral later on but I can also see the CG budget dropped a bit in later episodes. Not uncommon for a series.
So overall good but not great, IMO. The next season is far away. Gives them time to tweak and improve the show.
I finished Witcher the other day too. Similar reaction as yours. I feel like it's going places but there's still room for improvement.
Warehouse 13 and Caligula Effect anime.
Persona 5 anime. I'm not sure what the point of this anime is. It's just telling what happened in the game. Was persona 4 anime like this? Been so long I have forgotten.
Lost in Space had a ton of potential, but like another series I'd watched a couple of years ago, the end of each episode had really badly written suspenseful endings that were just lame. The water freezing in an early episode, with the girl being frozen in the ice, only to be rescued by the Robot in the final moments was just lame. And then you had the fuel run, and as I'd predicted, something just had to got wrong.
Get your ass over to The Witcher. It's a much better show.
Oh I finished both by now. LIS had a better second season but I agree. Every fucking thing is near death. I get why they do it but it's overkill. Witcher was fun. I have only played the part of 1 and 2 the games. Hated them both, not going to bother with 3. Not read the books. The show however I might stick with.
I've played the original Witcher. The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece, while the original is clunky and has aged horribly. You really need to play The Witcher 3, it's considered one of the best games of the past decade.
While I don't necessarily agree with some of their picks, I have no issue with their pick of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt being their top pick. I'm still playing through the DLC content for this game on PC.
Did they fix the combat and aimlessness pacing of 2? Combat was horrid in the first 2. Western games seem to struggle often with melee action combat. Kingdoms of Amalur and Darksiders II seem like exceptions to that rule tho.
I’ve never played 2, so I don’t know about that. The 1st Witcher on PC didn’t even support a controller.
PS4 version added to the wishlist on Amazon.
Who's the Boss. Got in the mood for some cheesy 80s sitcoms.
BTW I just realized as I was inspired by JCU in the what are you playing thread. I popped Daemon X Machina in for the first time in a couple of months. I had forgotten they added Witcher and Ciri skins. It's really weird to see them in a mecha game. An anime one at that.
Fringe. Never seen it outside of the first episode when it aired however many years ago. I wasn't sure if this was going to be a X-Files knockoff or not but so far 2 episodes in it seems a little different.
I'm watching the anime Eizouken, for me the best of this season ^^
I also finished watching Shirobako, one of my favorite anime of all time.
I even took part in a fanart contest from the official shirobako studio at PA works : D

Subbed Cowboy Bebop, because I never got to catch the entire thing when Cartoon Network ran the dubbed version.
I recently watched the new My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising movie! Felt the lead villain 'Nine' was a complex, double edged character. Reminded me a bit of Magneto from X-Men. Wrote an in-depth article about Nine and the Heroes Rising film if you guys are interested in reading. Thought early reviews characterizing him as just another 'take over the world' type villain were entirely off and missed the subtleties.
Hi-Score Girl Season 2 just went up on Netflix.
Anyone else a Food Wars! fan? It's one of my favorites, highly binge worthy. Wrote a review of "The Academy Falls" recently. Thought it had a real Orwellian-style allegory.
Parks and Rec
Also for the first time. Bubblegum Crisis
Finished BGC and enjoyed it. Watch AD Police now.
Finished watching Madox 01. Finished Parks and Rec and now moved to Altered Carbon.

Clearly it is from a pro Wayne Williams opinion but I don't think it does anything to absolve him of his convictions.

Ghost in The Shell Stand Alone Complex
Season 5 of Better Call Saul. Superb season, and Lalo is a great character.
Season 8 of Homeland. The final season was firing on all cylinders. Really enjoyed it.
