Hopefully that kind of stuff will get fixed (I know there was some minor difference in effects on the Super NT that were left as is, considered not worthy of the effort)

It won't be able to do 32X, at least not initially. But it will do Sega CD (it has the expansion port).
They are going to sell the new wireless 8bitdo controllers for $25 with it.
I am super happy!
Kevtris was involved among others in this project. I want to support these people and will buy it for sure!
Their page is down again...ugh... really tempted to pre-order as I did NOT on the Analogue NT and Super NT...but the Genesis I could get behind.
When can I throw money at this?! I've been holding my breath for one of these.
One thing I'd really love to know is if it's okay to use an ED mark 2 cart, what with all the 3.5v / 5v mismatch stuff. Man, I'm stoked!
Also, would it attach to a Mega CD?
EDIT - Gryson, you answered my question. I posted in excitement.
EDIT 2 - Just found out where to throw my money. I threw it.
I keep getting error 403 :(
Edit: I got in, but my country is not selectable as an address :(
Fuck man, I've saving to a Super NT and now this?? I mean I already own my high def model 1 with the component cables and heavily modded.
This little guy can wait.
"And it is compatible with your original Sega CD & Mega CD. Welcome to the next level. Sega CD in HD."
Holy shit, someone finally did it.
Yeah...I'm in the same boat. I've never ordered any of their other products and this one I'm actually interested in. But like you I've spend just as much if not more on mods, time and AV setup that my Genesis HDG uses now through my OSSC so it isn't as if I NEED this...but there is a very strong WANT...LOL
I’ve been ready to buy an ossc for some time. This would have been nice had I not modded my Sega. Any reviews yet?
Pre-ordered mine earlier. It's a shame about the 32X. Would have loved an HD Neptune but I can only imagine the amount of work that would require to fully reverse engineer. I wonder if they'd be willing to work with Bigevilcorp and Bitmap Bureau for Tanglewood and Xeno Crisis as "pack in" games similiar to what they did with Turrican on the Super NT. It would probably be beneficial for all parties in some way.
I will never get the hype behind these. Buy an OSSC and you've already saved money by not getting stuck in their ecosystem.
I'd say that the OSSC / Framemeister folks are the same set of customers that this targets. Those who want high quality visuals and accuracy with little lag.
That said, if someone only has the money to choose one, I'd say to go for the OSSC / Framemeister first.
Yeah, one big problem is that hardcore fans would go out of their way to chase down a model 1 (not even a model 2, because even if modded to fix the audio it'd still lack the "iconic" look). Good luck persuading them to buy a clone. And less hardcore ones are probably just waiting for the Mega Drive Mini to come out.
That said, I recall the Nt and Super Nt did reasonably well, right? (or they wouldn't be bothering with this by this point, honestly) So maybe you're underestimating it.
