Maybe you can also fit an extra chip in the cartridge. The chip don't have to do nothing, just stay there :D

I would prefer to have it free to move inside the cartridge. So, when you shake the cartridge the extra chip give you some extra sound features :lawl:

I suppose a LED connected to a 555 will do for a blinking LED while also having an extra chip.

Lets design a cartridge with a small glass window in the middle, that way we can see the super special chip that does nothing.

I work in Electronic and I want to build a custom cartridge .. ;)
I'd tried to use the SRAM instruction Word to drive a Ci/PIC or another stuff ... And like said Sik, a NE555 Trigger would be fine too !! :D :D

Don't get too fixated on the hardware :P we all know what happens when people do that ;)

In keeping with the spirit of Paprium, I feel like the "LED" should actually just be a red piece of plastic that doesn't light up.
