Half Price Books carries the old big box PC games. They recently stopped carrying the more modern stuff because of keys that no longer work. I’m still kicking myself for not picking up the Amiga big box version of Ultima Exodus for $25. We were about to go on vacation and I was pinching pennies.

Easter sale pickups. Finally decided to replace a couple green label PS1 games, and upgraded my Steel Empire cart to a complete copy. Chiki is the only real new addition.

This is the game where we find out Birdo is indeed a girl..supposedly. She has a dildo lol. No wonder this never came out in the US.
I just got my own M30 2.4 and played some Tanglewood for about 1.5 hours with it. I agree about your assessment that it's somehow not quite super high quality, but still really good. And it plays very well. These joysticks are a great value. I don't have any feedback yet about the battery life.Quote:

Aweomse pickups :) MSR is increabile, Alone in the Dark IV looks stunning on the DC and is also one of the best Horror games ever made. I also really liked Sword Of the Bersker too

Supposed to have an English option. USPS was kind enough to lose the package for a few weeks then deliver it with a shattered case (back). To ebay I go to replace the case. *sigh*
Prices for Mega Drive / Genesis games are obviously in some kind of bubble and I did a good job avoiding it ... until last Sunday when I kinda got carried away while browsing ebay auctions. I'm still wondering how it is possible that no one outbid me as they always do?:confused:

Well look what showed up from Sarumaru! I got FX Unit Yuki the Henshin Engine for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and the reprint version of the PC Engine/TurboGrafxCD version.
I had missed MGC this year, so I also begged for a promo or two from the show and he threw some extra stuff in like the little promo cards and a Yuki magnet. It's a solid translation but the soundtrack on the PC Engine version is so good.

Even straight out of the box without messing with any of the video settings, the picture and sound was quite a noticeable jump over the old console I'd been using (with composite cables). I absolutely love my Mega SG. So lately I've been thinking about picking up a Super NT, great video comparison Matthews. The Gameboy difference is particularly impressive.
I actually deliberated for an entire weekend about whether I was going to get the Super NT or the Mega SG. I definitely plan on having both, but ultimately it was the ability to play GameBoy games with that picture quality that won me over. If the SG had the Game Gear adapter now, I would probably have opted for that one.

Yeah, VCD isn't going to give you the best of quality. :p
One thing to note is that the VCD adaptor is region dependent when it comes to NTSC and PAL.
As I found out a few years ago when I had first sought out one of these. An adaptor with an "FVPAL" chip will not work for VCD content on a US or JP 3DO.
It can also work on an FZ-1 system. You'd have to remove the adaptors shell to make it fit though.

I was hoping to get the blue camouflage PS4 controller, but the nearby Walmart didn't have it in stock. I settled for the dark blue controller, that is alright looking. I'm glad that Walmart is still selling these for $47. I also picked up this Wiimote charger while doing some work at a Gamestop. They had a few of these sitting in the back. I'm glad I got this, because my black Wiimote stopped working with batteries and seems to work just fine with these battery packs.

I only asked about a few of them, but the seller wouldn't separate anything, so I ended up buying it all. I'll try out more than I would have originally liked to buy, but I'm not attached to too many of these (DBZ, Inu Yasha... not my kind of anime) and some are duplicates. If anyone has any interest in anything, feel free to hit me up. (These two are sideways, which is annoying because the files are saved with them not sideways. The image hosting site I normally use is timing out, so I guess I'll settle for this.)

I guess people noticed that the jewel case version isn't particularly common. The most I can confirm it selling for (based on sold listings with feedback) is $600, but it potentially sold for as much as $900.
I will never understand why a slight variant of a label or case can go for hundreds and sometimes thousands more when it's the same game. Esp a port of a game on everything else under the sun. Glad I don't collect that way personally.

I didn't realize that was originally a long box game for the PS1. I got rid of my copy after getting UMK3 on the Saturn.
