I struggle to see what people see in those games. Bland art. That horrible annoying "bah bah" music. They control like they are on a ice level all the time. I only played the DS one and the Wii U one because it came with the Wii U. It just seems if Nintendo/Mario was not stamped on them they would be seen as from bad to mediocre platformers.
I went thru the original DS Version 100% as well. They sold a ton of copies and I can see why as it was a very enjoyable experience from start to finish. I played around with the Wii U version and was fine with that also but the portable games just drew me in more. Honestly I loved the art, music and style of the games. It's hard for me to say anything really negative about it when the core thing being the game play was so well polished.Quote:

Got a few Game Gear carts in the mail the other day.
A couple of them happen to work in Master System compatibility mode. So they look and play fine on any Genesis/MD via an adapter.

The games are actually a couple that I've been looking out for. Omega Boost was in with the CDs, which was interesting because this particular store has been making sure to separate all CD-case based games from the music CDs. I mostly thought the Demon's Souls artbook/soundtrack was cool because I really enjoyed the game.
Here's apickupcar for one of my other hobbies. It's a 1/18 scale Maisto Ford GT (for reference, a typical 1/64 scale Hot Wheels car is as long as the door of a 1/18). I'm still missing a few variants, but I'm now up to 5 (the red is the exclusive edition that has like 1 available on eBay).

A couple are dupes and some are variants I wanted. For example I have the gatefold version of T2 but this one was like $2 so I figured why not. All are complete with the manuals too, got a pretty decent deal so yay!
Picked up the Grandia HD Collection for Switch today. I like it.

Thanks to watching Kinsey show off her Xbox 360 controller collection on MJR show along with extensive research I have concluded that I got a rare from Todd Mcfarlane comic book artist and creator of Spawn black error variant of the Halo 3 covenant Xbox360 controller. Possibly the rarest xbox 360 controller released in North America.
None of the controllers are too expensive loose ( still cool to collect imo though) but they are hard to come by factory sealed.
What makes this ever rarer then just a sealed one is this is the black figure variant.
This was a error in production where some of the figures were left with unfinished paint. Making Master Chief Black with just a finished visor as opposed to how it's suppose to be green as in the first pic. Very few of these errors are know to exist and the one I got at goodwill for $26 dollars happened to be the black figure error variant.

The stickers came off perfectly with goo gone as well as the residue in the top left. This thing is minty too.

There's a Mega CD there too :). Also had another 4 boxes of just games (loads of ST, Atari 800, DC, Game Gube games) I think in there, is the entire set of 32X CD games. I'm so cuffed and all because my mate is just looking to make roomQuote:
