I thought it was an April Fools joke, turns out it happens to be real! Final did leave me disappointed due to it's slower pacing than the rest of the series (the time traveling stage was extremely long for a final stage, but it was actually an incredible stage).
Release a new R-Type as a sequel of R-Type Final is a mistake, would be better as a R-Type 4, R-Type Epsilon or any other name. Worst game on the series with Leo.
I hope they're more inspired this time.

The KS is up. It's about $100 to get a physical copy outside Japan. There's an additional $30 shipping fee for international backers.
$100? I'm excited for this game, but not that excited.
I hope it gets funded, though. I really enjoyed R-Type Final 1.
