Fuck all the haters i’m gonna buy an amico.

Pick up a Phantom & Coleco Chameleon for me while you're at it.
I heard they give a special discount on Ouya if you get all of those.
Guys for 150 euro it is a no brainer. Amico will be filled with classic goodies. Why not buy it as a retrogamer? I bought a PS4 and what did I play? Assault Suit Leynos, Secret of Mana, Megaman11... All retrogames that looked butt fucking ugly with their 3d graphics. Give me decent 2d machine and I'll be happy (granted that controller has me worried)
Despite the Intellivision name, I don't remember anywhere where it said it would have old games as everything seems this doesn't want to rely on those 80s games as games must be new and exclusive as they have worded it. In their video is says "All games are exclusive" Not once are their old games mentioned. Besides if you want a compilation of Intellivision games there is on PS2. Lastly doesn't it seem a little odd a system a year from release has yet to show even a prototype kit? Just an illustration and amateur looking Youtube video showing what a promised illustration will do.
Yeah that's not the old games. It's remakes so they are not mentioning having the actual old games. Just some remakes.
Tommy has stated many times that a lot of classic Intellivision games will be available and at launch. They'll likely be sold in packs because of how cheap they're selling them for. An example he gave was 10 for $5.99. As far as I know the plan is still to have a bunch pre-loaded as "pack-ins".
You've just proven that you don't even know what the Intellivision is.Quote:

You keeping talking out of your ass about the Amico and act as if you're so worked up, yet insist that nobody should share care. Tommy has been more transparent and honest about the Amico while discussing it with the Intellivision community than any investment scheme based project, which this is not. He doesn't owe anyone any info, yet has been overly generous with it.Quote:

The actual console will be unveiled at E3, along with the actual Intellivision-esque controllers, which he pointed out are not exactly the same as the "Preliminary Conceptual Designs". The console also has many more features, but some won't be revealed until next year. E3 will be the first proper unveiling of the overall project.
He has said all along that he's going to take his time and unveil aspects at the right times and isn't rushing it just to try top recoup his investment asap. He originally announced it after everyone got scared about the sale of the Intellivision property after Keith Robinson passed away.
The plan is to have playable kiosks across the U.S. and have an Amico tour, so people can actually play it. He also said "we are honored and excited to have the 2 women who launched the Wii, the DS & the Pokemon franchise as a part of our team!"
This couldn't be any more the opposite of vaporware and scam consoles of the past.
I'm not a fan of Tommy and the Amico isn't for me, but you come off as ridiculous by setting your hair on fire over a parallel fantasy console that only exists in your imagination.
...
I'm not, funnily enough, a big EW J fan, and this game hasn't shaped my decision, but I'm going to get this system, and probably this game too.
The series is on my back burner and I will likely really enjoy it, and this system is a quite unique prospect in this era of gaming, which is why I'm getting one.
Even if there are, say, five really good titles, and they're exclusive, it's reason enough for a collector oriented gamer to have one.
The inflation didn't change that much between now and then, but yes, it was 6 years later, thus taking advantage of all the benefits of waiting that long: huge catalogue available, improved and fixed revision of the hardware, and price. But it was still a top-tier console, able to play triple AAA titles and indies alike.
I wouldn't call 150€ for a console like this one a no-brainer. 100€ at most, maybe.
Other than Tommy, were there any specifics about the team working on this new EWJ?
